Why Network Cable Certification Matters

Many installers perform basic continuity tests—verifying that wires connect from end to end. While useful for simple troubleshooting, continuity checks cannot detect interference, crosstalk, noise, or high-frequency performance bottlenecks. Certification is the only way to prove your system complies with rigorous TIA/ISO standards.

100% Standards Compliance

Ensure your copper and fiber infrastructure fully complies with standard ANSI/TIA and ISO/IEC specifications, providing complete peace of mind.

Guarantee Maximum Speeds

Avoid packet retransmissions and network bottlenecks. We certify your network to run at maximum rated bandwidth (up to 40 Gbps for CAT 8).

Secure Cable Warranties

Major structured cabling manufacturers (like Panduit, CommScope, and Leviton) require rigorous certification reports to issue 20 or 25-year system warranties.

Industry-Leading Diagnostic Technology

The Fluke DSX2-8000 Versiv™ Difference

Our fleet features the world-renowned Fluke DSX2-8000 Versiv CableAnalyzer. This isn't just a tester; it's a hyper-precise certification platform that eliminates testing delays and provides unmatched diagnostic clarity.

  • Interference Diagnosis: Diagnoses the exact cause of failure (including NEXT and Return Loss) with localized distance-to-fault measurements.
  • Resistance Unbalance: Ensures power-over-Ethernet (PoE) performance by verifying resistance balance across pairs.
  • Level VI Accuracy: Meets the industry's strictest standards for high-frequency testing, ensuring absolute calibration precision.
  • Future-Proof Capacity: Native testing of Category 8 cabling up to 2000 MHz.

With our Fluke DSX2-8000, we perform swift, error-free tests that keep your network deployment on budget and running cleanly.

Detailed Certification Documentation

A simple pass/fail on-screen is only half the job. For every structured cabling project, we compile and deliver complete, manufacturer-approved LinkWare™ PDF certification packets. These reports serve as your network's permanent birth certificate, proving its compliance to insurers, manufacturers, and compliance auditors.

  • Full trace graphs indicating NEXT (Crosstalk) and Return Loss margin.
  • Length measurements, propagation delay, and delay skew on all 4 pairs.
  • Resistance Unbalance measurements for perfect PoE compliance.
  • Clear wiremap representation indicating exact termination success.

Certification Frequently Asked Questions

Answering common questions regarding high-frequency cable testing.

What is the difference between verification, qualification, and certification?

Verification tests basic continuity (wiremap). Qualification checks if a cable can run certain speeds but doesn't test electrical parameters against standards. Certification is the most comprehensive test: it uses high-frequency signals to verify the link complies with TIA/ISO electrical specifications, and is required for official system warranties.

Why do I need a Fluke DSX2-8000 analyzer specifically?

The Fluke DSX2-8000 is an industry-leading Level VI / 2G-calibrated analyzer. It is capable of measuring copper up to 2 GHz (2000 MHz), which is the precise frequency spectrum required to certify CAT 8 installations. Standard field testers are structurally limited to 500 MHz or 1000 MHz and cannot certify CAT 8.

Can you certify existing network infrastructure?

Absolutely. We diagnose and certify both newly installed systems and existing legacy cabling runs. If you are experiencing network lag or dropouts, we can pinpoint the exact foot or meter where crosstalk or resistance errors are occurring on your current network.
